The launch of ChatGPT made a lot of noise in the world. The release of GPT-4, a newer version of GPT-3, is a hot topic which flooded the whole internet in the past 24 hours.
The new version is supposed to be multimodal, accepting inputs of not just text, but also video and audio. So what can the GPT-4 actually do?

GPT-4 called Ethereum’s contract a Ponzi scheme! Let’s hope it’s not right. The director of Coinbase used GPT-4 to evaluate Ethereum’s contract and it showed him some flaws in the contract while calling it an illegal scheme.

What’s the upgrade all about?
Using human feedback, including that provided by users, GPT-4 is able to offer “safer and more meaningful responses” than its popular predecessor, ChatGPT. In terms of size, GPT-4 is much larger than its previous model.

Its previous model GPT-3 was known for giving wrong answers or providing advices to users who asked harmful requests. That might be over now.
“We spent six months making GPT-4 safer and more aligned. GPT-4 is 82% less likely to respond to requests for disallowed content and 40% more likely to produce factual responses than GPT-3.5 on our internal evaluations,” OpenAI’s website stated.
It is already working with several industry leaders in finance or banking like Morgan Stanley, Stripe, or even Duolingo, a language learning app. While it’s not perfect, its release literally caught the attention of the internet.
