Chinese GDP accelerates
In Q3 2022, the Chinese economy expanded by 3.9%. China outperformed market expectations of 3.5%, moving from the previous quarter’s decline of 2.6%. This was the fastest quarterly growth rate since the second quarter of 2020, helped by some Beijing-implemented measures and stimuli meant to jump-start the economy.
