According to Bitcoin Mining Council , a voluntary forum of cryptocurrency mining companies, Bitcoin mining has seen a sustainable electricity mix of 58.4% in Q1 of this year. Last year, the same metric was about 36.8%, which shows that the mining of biggest cryptocurrency is becoming more sustainable, ecological and climate friendly.
